This week's John's Lock and Key "Metro Spotlight" Team of the Week is the Linn-Mar Wrestling team! The Lions had a terrific weekend at the State Tournament in Des Moines. Linn-Mar finished a close fourth in the Class 3A team race, only a half-point behind third place Iowa City West. The Lions crowned a state champion in freshman 106 pounder Matt Wempen. Linn-Mar also had a pair of runner-up finished with 145 pounder Ross Lembeck and 182 pounder Mark Atwater. All told, the Lions sent nine wrestlers to Des Moines and had eight of them place.
