This week we honor Caitlynn Daniels of the Xavier Girls Basketball team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Daniels, a senior, became Xavier’s all-time leading scorer in Girls Basketball last Tuesday night in the Saints 65-52 victory over Waterloo West. Daniels is averaging 17.2 points a game this season for the Class 4A #7 rated Saints and is also dishing out six assists a game. Daniels will play her college basketball at Alabama-Birmingham.
