This week we honor the CR Jefferson Softball team as our Carpenters Union, Local 308 in Cedar Rapids, Local 1260 in Iowa City and Local 678 in Waterloo/Dubuque “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week. Jefferson has put together a 23-4 record so far this season, including a MVC-Mississippi Division leading 14-4. The J-Hawks are hitting nearly .400 as a team and have a team ERA at 1.54. The Class 5A #5 rated J-Hawks have a big doubleheader at #3 rated Dubuque Hempstead on Thursday.
