This week we honor Derrick Diggins of the CR Kennedy Boys Basketball team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Diggins scored 41 points as the Cougars defeated Dubuque Wahlert in their season opener on Monday night. The 41 points was the second most points scored in school history, second to Todd Miller’s 43 in 1993.
