This week we honor Emily Jasper and Miyahko Coffey of the CR Xavier Girls Tennis team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athletes of the Week! . Jasper, a senior, and Coffey, a junior, won the Class 1A State Doubles title with a win over the defending State champion team from Waterloo Columbus last weekend. Jasper and Coffey came into the State meet as Regional champions and the number 2 seed for State and did not lose a set in the tournament on their way to winning the title.
