This week we honor Jake Hilmer of the North Linn Boys Basketball team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Hilmer, a senior, recently became the all-time scoring leader in Boys Basketball at North Linn with 1,771 points and counting as he continues his final campaign. Hilmer currently leads the Lynx in scoring at 22.4 points per game and in addition is averaging over 11 assists and nearly six steals a game for the Class 2A top five rated Lynx. Hilmer will continue his career at Upper Iowa where he will play both basketball and baseball.
