This week we honor Jeremy Fopma of the Marion Boys Track & Field team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Fopma topped a stellar field to win the 3200 at the Hawkins Invitational at Prairie on Tuesday. Fopma’s time of 9:29.66 was a meet record and is the second best time in the state for the year and qualifies him to run the event at the Drake Relays later this month.
