This week we honor Kayba Laube of the Marion Girls Basketball team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Laube, a senior, has been a four year starter for the Indians and has helped lead the team to 3 straight Class 4A State title game appearances. Laube is averaging 21.0 points per game and is shooting 48% from 3 point range. She recently became Marion’s all-time leader in 3 pointers and is in the top 10 in mad three’s in state history.
