This week we honor the Kennedy Football team as our Carpenters Union, Local 308 in Cedar Rapids, Local 1260 in Iowa City and Local 678 in Waterloo/Dubuque “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Cougars sit at 4-1 for the season and 1-0 in the district after a 49-14 win at Burlington last Friday. The Cougars are a speedy team with many weapons. QB BJ White, RB’s Cairron Hendred and Keyshawn Allers and WR’s Kai Jenkins Michael Watkins and Derrick Diggins leading the way. The Cougar defense has been stingy as well giving up only 211 yards per game.
