This week we honor Lindsey Culver of the CR Jefferson Softball team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Culver, a junior, helped to lead the Jefferson J-Hawks to a 34-8 record for the year, a MVC-Mississippi Division championship and a berth in the Class 5A State Tournament. Culver is hitting .571 for the season and has 72 hits for the year, both marks are second best in Class 5A. In addition, Culver was a unanimous all MVC-Mississippi selection and was named to division Player of the Year!
