This week we honor the Linn-Mar Boys Golf team as this week’s “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Lions are off to a great start for the 2016 season with a current record of 39-2 and are rated #2 by the IHSGCA. Linn-Mar started the season by winning the MVC Super Meet in Dubuque and followed that with a win at their own Linn-Mar Invitational for the first time, and setting a school 18 hole team record in the process. Andrew Wood leads the Lions with a stroke average of 71.33 followed by Jack Recker at 74.00. Linn-Mar will next be in action at the Crandic Meet next Tuesday.
