This week we honor Nelson Brands of the Iowa City West Wrestling team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Brands has won the title at 160 pounds at two huge two-day tournaments, the Cliff Keen Independence Invitational and the Council Bluffs Invitational to open the season. Brands won the 152 pound Class 3A title a year ago and will wrestle in college for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
