This week's John's Lock and Key "Metro Spotlight" Teams of the Week are the Cedar Valley Christian Basketball teams! The Huskies are in their first year of sanctioned play in both the IHSAA and the IGHSAU. The Girls team has been struggling this season, but has made strides winning their last two games to improve to 4-15 for the year. The Boys team has been very competitive throughout the year and owns a mark of 12-8 with one regualr season game remaining. The Girls team has only seven players and is led by freshman Shelby Hembera, while the Boys team has three double-digit scorers in Jeremy Strutz, Will Muhlbach and David Sperling.
