Mike Golic is co-host of ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning show, 5-9AM on 1600 KGYM.  The show premiered October 12, 1998.

Golic is a nine-year NFL veteran, playing defensive tackle for the Houston Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins. During his seven years in Philadelphia, he began his television career with a weekly segment on the Randle Cunningham Show. He received a Mid-Atlantic Region Emmy Award for his feature “Golic’s Got It.”

Golic, born Dec. 12, 1962, is a 1985 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he served as captain of the football team during his senior season. He also wrestled for the Irish.



Mike Greenberg is heard on ESPN Radio each weekday morning 5-9AM as co-host of Mike & Mike in the Morning, with Mike Golic, a show he joined on December 30, 1999.

Greenberg is also frequently an anchor for the 6 p.m. SportsCenter, ESPN’s flagship news and information program.

Prior to joining ESPN Greenberg had worked as a sports anchor/reporter for the regional cable news network CLTV in Chicago, Ill., since April 1995. In addition, Greenberg had worked for Chicago’s WSCR-Radio (1992-96) serving as a reporter (covering events including the World Series, Super Bowl, etc.) and talk show host.

Born August 6, 1967, Greenberg is a 1989 graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. The New York City native is married and has two children.



Colin Cowherd joined ESPN Radio in 2004 with the debut of The Herd with Colin Cowherd, which airs 9AM-Noon weekdays on 1600 KGYM. The Herd features topical commentary on the day's most important sports news, perspective on the top stories, interviews with the biggest newsmakers, and entertaining daily segments including "Spanning the Globe."

"We work our tails off and take sports seriously, but can laugh at ourselves too," Cowherd says. "The Herd has a different sound and vibe, and we hope fans enjoy it. My goal has always been to produce the best show possible, and ESPN's commitment and resources make this is a perfect fit."

Cowherd joined ESPN Radio from KFXX 910-AM "The Fan" in Portland, Oregon.  Cowherd's experience also includes having served as sports anchor at Tampa's WTVT-TV, and as sports director at KVBC-TV in Las Vegas, where he was a multiple recipient of Nevada's Sportscaster-of-the-Year award. He began his career as play-by-play voice for the Pacific Coast League's Las Vegas Stars.



Dan Patrick starts the afternoon lineup on 1600 KGYM.  You can hear him weekdays 12-3pm.  Dan also is the co-host of NBC's "Football Night in America" studio show, joining Bob Costas and Keith Olbermann.  Along with Olbermann, he redefined sports highlights during their time on ESPN's SportsCenter from 1992-97.

In 1998, he received a Sports Emmy Award in the Studio Host category. In 2000, Patrick was named the National Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association, making him just the second cable commentator to receive the honor. He received a CableACE Award in 1997 for his work on SportsCenter.

Patrick received a B.A. in broadcasting from the University of Dayton.

Jason Smith joined ESPN Radio full-time in September 2005. You can hear All Night with Jason Smith from Midnight to 4AM. 

Prior to joining ESPN Radio, Smith worked for ESPN Radio affiliate 710 ESPN Radio (KSPN-AM) in Los Angeles, hosting in afternoon time-slots and pre- and post-game shows for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins.

Smith's return to ESPN Radio marked a return to ESPN's Bristol, Conn. headquarters where he began his post-graduate career in TV production working on SportsCenter from 1993-1996, winning an Emmy Award for his role in the show.

Jason was raised on Staten Island in New York, and is a graduate of Syracuse University.
