This week we honor the CR Prairie Boys Basketball team as our Carpenters Union, Local 308 in Cedar Rapids, Local 1260 in Iowa City and Local 678 in Waterloo/Dubuque “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Hawks won their season opener last Friday night at home stopping North Scott 64-54. Prairie scored 41 points in the second half and was led in scoring by Kris Murray with 20 points and Griff Clark with 13. The Class 4A 8th rated Hawks will open MVC play this Friday at home against CR Washington.
