This week we honor Rami Scheetz of the CR Washington Boys Tennis team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! . Scheetz, a senior, won the Class 2A Boys State Singles championship with a 6-2, 6-0 straight sets victory last Saturday. In addition to his tennis success, Scheetz is also one of the top players for the Washington Boys Soccer team which has qualified for the State Soccer Tournament in Des Moines this weekend.
