This week we honor Skyler Stookey of the Solon Softball team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! . Stookey, a senior, is helping to lead the Spartans to a terrific start to the season. Stookey currently is tied for third in the state with 8 home runs. Stookey is also hitting .439 with 26 rbi’s which is also among the state leaders, and a slugging percentage of .965.
