This week we honor the CR Xavier Boys Basketball team as our Carpenters Union, Local 308 in Cedar Rapids, Local 1260 in Iowa City and Local 678 in Waterloo/Dubuque “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Saints won their fifth straight game last Tuesday night with a 57-56 victory at Dubuque Hempstead. Xavier currently is 9-3 for the season and sits in 2nd in the MVC Valley Division. Xavier is led by a pair of seniors in Matt Mims and Jackson Joens, bot four year varsity players. The Saints will play Solon this Saturday morning at 8:30 at the US Cellular Center.
