This week we honor Paul Ryan of the Mount Vernon Wrestling team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Ryan, a senior, won the sectional title at 170 pounds at West Delaware last Saturday by beating 8th rated Wyatt Voelker of West Delaware 3-1. Ryan, the top rated wrestler in Class 2A at 170 pounds, enters the District meet at DeWitt this Saturday at 39-0 for the year and will be looking for a repeat trip to the State Tournament where he finished 4th a season ago also at 170 pounds.
