December 2

Monday's show includes news about Bears, both the Chicago and Japanese variety. Jaidyn caught Todd doing something Saturday morning at the station and it isn't clear who felt more awkward. December begins by looking back at how November ended for both the Hawkeyes and Cyclones. After all the shenanigans between Iowa and Nebraska last Friday, there's only one thing remaining to truly cement the Black Friday game as a real rivalry. Jay Higgins gets the nod as BMOC despite Kaleb Johnson's big game-tying touchdown. Speaking of Johnson, his departure for the NFL is touched on. After playing the biggest game in program history Saturday, the Cyclones ready themselves to do the same again and Matt Campbell uses a term that once again reminds Todd just how similar the Cyclones and Hawkeyes are. Saturday's Ohio State debacle opened the door for another life lesson for the kids listening on their way to school. An old friend helped bring the news of Matt Eberflus' firing to Chicago radio listeners and Todd couldn't be happier. Todd checks a box off his career to-do list.
