This week we honor the Washington Girls Basketball team as this week’s John’s Lock and Key “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Warriors are off to a terrific 2-0 start with road wins over Davenport Central and Dubuque Wahlert. Washington is off to a fast start on the offensive end, averaging more than 75 points per game. The Warriors have been led by Anne Visser in scoring at 14.0 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game. Washington has a total of four double figure scorers right now.
