This week we honor the Cedar Rapids Prairie Girls Bowling team as our Carpenters Union, Local 308 in Cedar Rapids, Local 1260 in Iowa City and Local 678 in Waterloo/Dubuque “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week. Prairie won the State Qualifying meet held at CR Bowling Center on Tuesday with a team score of 1918, which was the 2nd highest score in Class 3A. The Hawks are 10-1 for the season and are led by 3 terrific bowlers: Mikayla Hite, Ashley Sundstrom and Jade Klinefelter. The Hawks will compete for the State title in Class 3A at the State Bowling Tournament in Waterloo next week.
