Things get a little bananas during JUNK. Discussion of Kirk Ferentz's media availability and Iowa's quarterback situation turns existential when a listener questions how the season could be viewed as being on the brink at this point. The Mayo Meter is officially retired as Todd feels Tampa is the most likely postseason destination for the Hawkeyes. As for Iowa State? One of its players could yield the ultimate power after the Pop Tarts Bowl, but the Cyclones would need to win first. ESPN's Tristan Cockcroft joins the show to answer fantasy football questions later than usual.

Blocked field goals and baby tarantulas kick off Monday's show. The first full hour of radio begins with Curt Cignetti's contract extension at Indiana and why Todd isn't worried about the Hoosiers jumping the gun. This week's "Big Man on Campus" isn't a man at all. Payton Sandfort's comments about Friday's crowd in Moline re-ignite an age old debate about why Carver-Hawkeye Arena has become a dead zone for men's basketball - lots of reasons and no easy fixes. During the back half of Monday's show Todd reacts in realtime to CBS reporting Brendan Sullivan will miss the remainder of the regular season and that Cade McNamara will likely start under center against Maryland.

Things get off to an auspicious start as Todd, operating on 2 hours of sleep, realizes he's made a big mistake. Two, actually. That's just within the first 30 minutes. Isaac reveals another member of the show also got sloppy with their work on Thursday when a familiar topic airs during JUNK. With no Iowa football game on the horizon, focus turns to Netflix's Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight. Then it's on to a pair of proposals that could change college football as we know it...but won't because the SEC and B1G aren't on board. The Iowa soccer team gets some love before the NCAA tourney gets underway. Todd uses the upcoming men's basketball game against Washington State as an opportunity to remember some Quad City Thunder personnel. Paul vs. Tyson resurfaces so Todd plays a clip of Iron Mike taking a 14-year-old girl on an existential journey after being asked about his legacy. A Will Ferrell clip eventually lightens the mood as focus shifts to the weekend's B1G football slate. Should Iowa fans be keeping an eye on how Illinois finishes the season? There's more. Dive in, enjoy, and remember we're all going to die.
