This week we honor the Iowa City Liberty Volleyball team as our Carpenters Union, Local 308 in Cedar Rapids, Local 1260 in Iowa City and Local 678 in Waterloo/Dubuque “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week”. The young Bolts picked up the first win in Liberty sports history last Saturday vs Iowa Falls-Alden at the Charles City Tournament with a 2-1 win. Liberty followed that up on Tuesday with their first ever match and home win with a shutout of Clear Creek-Amana. The Lightning got 12 kills from freshman Olivia Slattery in the victory.
