This week we honor the Jefferson Baseball team as our Carpenters Union, Local 308 in Cedar Rapids, Local 1260 in Iowa City and Local 678 in Waterloo/Dubuque “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week. The J-Hawks won the Vrbicek Metro Baseball Tournament last week with a 6-0 win over Washington in the title game. Jefferson has started the season strong with a 6-1 record and are a perfect 2-0 in MVC play. Jefferson is led by a pair of Division One college signees in Brayden Frazier and Connor VanScoyoc.
