John’s Lock and Key “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”
This week we honor the Kennedy Baseball team as this week’s John’s Lock and Key “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Cougars are on a roll, having won 11 of their last 12 games improving their record to 17-5 for the year. Kennedy is rated 8th in the state in Class 4A and are in a tough four-way battle for the Valley Division championship in the MVC going into the last two weeks of the regular season. The Cougars, who won the Metro Tournament to start the year, are lead by a solid pitching staff with a team ERA of 2.44.
