This week we honor the Mount Vernon Softball team as our “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Mustangs qualified for the Class 3A Softball Tournament with a regional final victory over arch rival Solon on Monday night. The Mustangs will take a 27-11 record into a quarter-final matchup vs Louisa-Muscatine on Tuesday morning at 11.
