This week we honor the CR Washington Boys Basketball team as our Carpenters Union, Local 308 in Cedar Rapids, Local 1260 in Iowa City and Local 678 in Waterloo/Dubuque “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Warriors picked up their first MVC victory of the season with a 57-55 win at home over Linn-Mar on Tuesday. The Warriors had 4 in double-figures led by Collin Westmoreland with 17. The Warriors also picked up a non-conference win over Waterloo East prior to the Linn-Mar win to have a two game winning streak going into the holiday break.
