This week we honor the Xavier Volleyball team as our Carpenters Union, Local 308 in Cedar Rapids, Local 1260 in Iowa City and Local 678 in Waterloo/Dubuque “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Saints advanced to the State Volleyball Tournament with a victory over Fort Madison in the Regional Finals. The Xavier defeated Independence in the Class 4A State Quarter-Final on Tuesday, led by Charlotte Richards 14 kills. The Saints will meet Sergeant Bluff-Luton in a 4A Semi-Final on Thursday.
