This week we honor the Jefferson Baseball team as this week’s “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The J-Hawks qualified for the Class 4A State Baseball Tournament next week with a 4-1 victory over CR Kennedy on Wednesday night. Jefferson will be competing at State for the first time since 1998. The J-Hawks got a three-run home run from Tyler Roeder to take the lead and received a terrific pitching performance from the Van Scoyoc brothers, Spencer and Connor. The J-Hawks will play IC West in a State quarter-final next Wednesday. Congratulations to Head Coach Kyle Rodenkirk and the Jefferson Baseball team, this week’s Metro Spotlight Team of the Week!
