This week we honor Beau Cornwell of the West Branch Football team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Cornwell, a senior, helped to lead the West Branch Bears to another Class 1A Playoff spot and an 8-1 record for the season. Cornwell finished the regular season as one of the top passing QB’s in Class 1A completing 68% of his passes for over 1,700 yards and 20 touchdowns for the regular season. The Bears will travel to Osage for a Class 1A first round playoff game this Friday at 7.
