This week we honor the Linn-Mar Boys Golf team as this week’s John’s Lock and Key “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Lions finished in 5th place at the Boys Class 4A State Golf Meet this past weekend at Elmcrest CC. Linn-Mar reached the State Tournament after capturing 1st place at the District meet held at Palmer Hills in Davenport, that coming after the Lions won the MVC-Valley Division championship. The Lions were led by a pair of seniors in Max Thrune who tied for 9th with a 154 total and Jake Sevcik who tied for 16th with a 158 score.
