This week we honor Mallory McDermott of the CR Prairie Girls Basketball team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! McDermott, a senior, is off to a terrific start to the season averaging 25.4 points a game for the 5-0 Hawks who are rated #7 in Class 5A. McDermott, a Western Illinois commit, is second in Class 5A in scoring and is also shooting 57% from three point range and is 14-14 from the free throw line.
