This week we honor the Marion Girls Basketball team as our “Metro Spotlight” Team of the Week. The Indians won a berth at the Girls State Basketball Tournament with a hard fought 46-39 win at home over Keokuk. The Class 4A #1 rated Indians will take on Boone in a State Qtr-Final next Wednesday March 1st at 10am in Des Moines. Three Marion players were named 1st team all Wamac-West including Chloe Rice and sisters Mia and Kayba Laube, in addition, Coach Corby Laube was named Coach of the Year, Congratulations to Head Coach Corby Laube and the Marion Girls Basketball team…this week’s “Metro Spotlight” Team of the Week!
