This week we honor Nick Pearson of the CR Prairie Football team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Pearson, a junior, had a monster night on the ground for Prairie last Friday in a 43-40 shootout win at Dubuque Senior. Pearson rushed 37 times for 374 yards and four touchdowns! For the season, Pearson leads Class 4A with 948 yards rushing and is ninth overall for the state. The Hawks will entertain Dubuque Hempstead this Friday.
