This week we honor the Xavier Football team as this week’s John’s Lock and Key “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Saints are off to a 2-0 start for the season, their opening game vs. WDM Dowling was canceled due to weather and will not be made up. Last Friday night Xavier came from behind to top Solon in their Class 3A District opener 22-19. The Saints scored two 4th quarter touchdowns, one on the ground from Malaki Wilson and the game winner on a pass from Bryce Schulte to Nick Stark.
