This week we honor the CR Washington Girls Basketball team as our “Corridor Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Warriors are off to a 12-1 start and are on top of the MVC-Mississippi Division standings. Washington has won 5 straight after a loss to Prairie. The Warriors are a fun, high scoring team that currently ranks 9th in the state in scoring at nearly 68 points per game. The Warriors are balanced with four double-figure scorers led by freshman Hannah Stuelke and seniors Sammy Mia and Caitlin Riley.
