Living in Cedar Rapids the last four years, Jeff Downing joined KGYM in November of 2011 after spending the last 17 years on the air at Ottumwa Radio hosting a morning show, sports director, and play-by-play announcer.
Currently Jeff also works for the City of Cedar Rapids Golf Department and referees local football and basketball games. Away from work he’ll hit the links for 9 holes or the bike trails with his wife, Renee. He also averages a 170 while throwing a back-up ball at the bowling alley and still looking for that first 600 series.
