This week we honor the Prairie Girls Tennis team as this week’s John’s Lock and Key “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Hawks captured the school’s first State Team Tennis Championship on Saturday. Prairie defeated Urbandale 5-4 in a tight semi-final before dispatching Pleasant Valley 5-3 to take the title. The Hawks were paced by the sister duo of Vale and Magui Caro along with a deep and balanced group from 3 through 6.
