This week we honor Ashlyn Keeney of the IC Liberty Girls Cross Country team as the Sheet Metal Workers Local 263 of Eastern and Central Iowa Athlete of the Week! Keeney, a freshman, won the MVC Girls Cross Country individual championship last Thursday at Noelridge Park in Cedar Rapids. Keeney became the first ever MVC champion, individual or team, for Iowa City Liberty High School. Keeney will run at the MVC Divisional meet on the 12th and the Regional meet on the 18th.
