This week we honor the Kennedy Girls Basketball team as this week’s John’s Lock and Key “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Cougars finished the regular season with a record of 17-4 and a third place finish in the Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division. The Cougars are rated number 11 in Class 5A and will open the post season on Saturday by hosting Muscatine. The Cougars are led in scoring by Lela Sellers at nearly 19 points per game and Sydney Hayden who is 2nd in Class 5A in made 3 point goals.
