This week we honor the Marion Girls Basketball team as this week’s John’s Lock and Key “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Indians defeated Vinton-Shellsburg Monday night 45-20, and followed that with a 65-28 triumph over Clear Creek-Amana at home on Tuesday. With the wins, Marion sewed up a tie for the Wamac Conference Western Division title along with Center Point-Urbana. The Class 4A #7 rated Indians are now 16-4 on the year and conclude the regular season Friday at West Delaware.
