This week we honor the Xavier Boys Basketball team as this week’s John’s Lock and Key “Metro Spotlight Team of the Week”. The Saints won the Class 3A State Championship with a 62-57 win over Dubuque Wahlert. #10 rated Xavier defeated the Golden Eagles behind 18 points from sophomore Jackson Joens, 16 points from senior Mitch Burger and sophomore Matt Mims chipped in with 11. Joens was chosen to the Class 3A All-Tournament team after a 43 point tournament.
